Vibroacoustic Therapy (VAT) is an amazing treatment for many chronic conditions as well as injuries. The list below is far from exhaustive, but it gives you an idea of the many ways this modality can help.

Before the session: 

You will complete an information form. Then you and the therapist will complete a session in-take form, discuss any specific concerns you may have, and take biometrics pre-treatment. Biometrics can include blood pressure, pulse oximeter, range of motion, pain and stress level scales. 

During the session:

Your therapist will walk you through breathing and mind-body connection exercises. As you relax gentle vibrations will be played through a sound lounge or a sound pillow. Once the frequencies have completed your therapist will help you transition out of the experience. 

The session lasts from 25 to 35 minutes. 

After the session:

Once you are ready, the therapist will take post-treatment biometrics and you will be given time to reflect on your experience and record any outcomes.

Please note the importance of hydration! Water, acting as a natural conductor, enhances sound vibrations throughout the body and amplifies the therapeutic effects of the vibroacoustic session. Additionally, drinking water post-session helps with detoxification, and maintaining balance.
