Vibrational sound therapy is an ancient healing practice that utilizes sound and vibrations to restore balance and harmony. With roots deeply embedded in time-honored traditions, this modality has re-emerged as a powerful and transformative method for nurturing the mind and body. Through the therapeutic qualities of sound, vibrational sound therapy has gained widespread recognition for its ability to heal past trauma and the body.
It is based on the fundamental principle that everything in the universe is in constant vibration, including our bodies. This therapy aims to realign and harmonize the body’s energetic systems by introducing specific frequencies and vibrations that can promote healing on multiple levels.
It also holds significant spiritual benefits and provides a pathway for connecting to higher consciousness. The vibrational frequencies of sound therapy can help quiet the mind, inducing a meditative state and promoting a deep sense of inner peace and connection. The sounds and vibrations assist in accessing higher states of consciousness, expanding awareness, and tapping into inner wisdom.
Through sound we can restore the mind-body connection to activate the body's innate healing ability.
As a certified Vibroacoustic Therapy Practitioner my passion is to empower individuals to achieve the healthiest version of themselves possible. I believe in a holistic approach with a focus on utilizing vibrational sound and the mind-body connection to address both physical and emotional well-being.
Now more than ever, it is important to give ourselves permission to rest, relax, and recharge. Making small changes to our daily habits and being mindful in our practices will set us up for success.
Through my own journey of healing music and vibration was key to bringing my body back into a healthy balance. When the body is healthy, it's a beautiful symphony.
“I have struggled with poor circulation and sleep for many years now. I also have COPD. These treatments have allowed me to reduce my medications, I get better sleep, I’m clear headed and have more energy to do the things I need to get done. My circulation has improved and the sores on my lower leg and ankle are finally healing. I have a strong gag reflex which causes me to joke easily, and I go into a panic. After one treatment I had a more productive cough and didn’t joke like I used to. I will continue these treatments as they have helped me so much."

"Yesterday I did a vibroacoustic sound healing with Nixie @ Touch of Sound. Oh my goodness, it was so deep and profound and grounding and therapeutic. I don't have the words to describe it but I felt enveloped in a beautiful safe blanket of harmonious sound & vibration. If you feel scattered, flighty, stressed or overwhelmed I think you would find it to be a nice modality to bringing your body into balance and deep calmness."

"I have experienced several vibroacoustic sound sessions with Nixie and each time I drifted into a deep meditative state and was very relaxed and settled emotionally. I highly recommend these sessions with Nixie.
My Tuning fork therapy session with Nixie was very interesting. I was able to visualize changes in each chakra in vivid detail and felt more balanced afterwards. I'm now thinking of adding a tuning fork ritual to my bedtime routine. Nixie's approach is both educational and professional and I highly recommend her. You've gotto try these modalities!! They are now a regular part of my selfcare routine."
